For the last several months I’ve had the privilege of taking part in planning a great event and today we’re proud to release to the public the first OpenCamp.
OpenCamp stemmed from the realization that many of the “camps” (wordcamp, drupalcamp, etc… ) share more in common than not and through those common interests we have an opportunity to network, learn and have fun!

- You Tube Exhibitionist (just kidding… sort of)
We encourage you to join us on August 27-28 for a killer time. We’ll be releasing more info as it becomes available like speakers, parties, schedules and more but space is limited so-don’t wait to register. Plus, the sooner you register the more prominent your info will be on the attendees page and that should be good for some link_love!
BTW, even if you don’t live in Dallas don’t be afraid to travel in for this one, it’s going to be a FULL weekend of stuff.
One more hint: You’ll want to book a hotel room (even if you live in town) and make a weekend out of OpenCamp if you really want to get the most out of the event. I cant’ tell you all the details yet but good stuff planned for after hours too!
I also want to say thanks to the entire committee for working so hard and for allowing me the privilage of taking part, this is a helluva group of people putting this event on so you know it is going to seriously kick ass!
